MightyMouse

MightyMouse vs Conductor

Your agents keep running on the Mac you already own. You answer, approve and merge from your phone.

Short answer: MightyMouse is a Conductor alternative that runs your coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode) on your own Mac instead of a cloud that can be switched off, and picks up your Conductor workspaces with one click. Agents keep running with the lid closed, and you reply, approve and merge their pull requests from your phone.

Conductor made running several coding agents side by side easy: one workspace per task, each on its own branch, with a diff view and a pull request button. On Nov 4 it announced it is joining Meta. New signups and downloads stopped that day, Conductor Cloud goes read-only on Nov 13 and shuts down on Nov 20, and the Mac app gets fixes until early 2027.

MightyMouse covers the same daily loop on your own Mac. Start agents in their own copy of the project, watch up to six side by side, review the changes, open the pull request and merge it. Your Conductor workspaces show up in a From Conductor list, and Continue here picks one up with its old chat. On top of that, the whole Mac comes to your phone: lock-screen approvals, replies, merges, the live screen, a trackpad and voice typing.

Where Conductor was the better pick

Conductor Cloud gave every workspace its own cloud computer, so agents kept going with your laptop shut off entirely, and teams could share a workspace. MightyMouse has no cloud computers and no shared workspaces: your Mac does the work, so it has to stay on (the lid can be closed).

If you already have the Conductor Mac app installed, it keeps working with fixes until early 2027. Nothing forces you to move your local workspaces this week. The Cloud deadline is the one to act on.

Where MightyMouse is the better pick

Nothing to shut down. Your agents run on your own Mac with your own Claude, Codex or Cursor plan. No cloud is holding your work.

Your agents, in your pocket. When an agent asks a question, your phone buzzes. Approve from the lock screen, read the reply, merge the pull request, all from the couch. Conductor's iPhone app only worked with Cloud workspaces.

The whole Mac, not only the agent. A dialog the agent did not expect, a browser tab to check: open the phone and you have the live screen, a trackpad, the keyboard and voice typing.

Moving over takes a few minutes

Install MightyMouse on the Mac where Conductor ran, turn on Advanced in Settings, open Code, and your Conductor workspaces are listed under From Conductor. Continue here starts a Claude session in that folder seeded with the old chat. The full walk-through is in how to move from Conductor, and the dates are in is Conductor shutting down.

Common questions

Is Conductor shutting down?

Conductor is joining Meta. New downloads stopped on Nov 4, Conductor Cloud goes read-only on Nov 13 and shuts down on Nov 20, and the Mac app gets fixes until early 2027, per conductor.build/announcement.

Does it run Cursor and Codex too?

Yes. MightyMouse runs Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode with the plans you already pay for.
