MightyMouse vs Cursor
Cursor is the editor. MightyMouse is how you reach your agents, and your whole Mac, from your phone.
Short answer: Cursor is an AI code editor with its own agents, and MightyMouse is not an editor: it runs the Cursor agent alongside Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode on your own Mac, so you can reply, approve and merge from your phone with the lid closed. It also puts the whole Mac on your phone, with a live screen, trackpad, keys and free voice typing.
Cursor is a code editor built around AI. It has an editor on your computer, a command line agent, and cloud agents that run in virtual computers Cursor hosts. Cursor for iOS can start those cloud agents, follow them live, send follow-ups, and review and merge pull requests.
MightyMouse does not edit code. It runs the coding agents you already use on your own Mac, including the Cursor agent, each in its own copy of the project. The phone is how you reach them: answer a question, approve a step, merge the pull request. Because the Mac does the work, your agents can also keep going with the lid closed, and the same phone drives the whole Mac.

Where Cursor is the better pick
If you want an editor, Cursor is the answer and MightyMouse is not one. It is where you read files, change code by hand and work through a project with AI beside you.
Cursor cloud agents also run in virtual computers Cursor hosts, so they keep working with your laptop shut off entirely and can be started from Slack, GitHub or Linear. They need the Premium plan or higher. MightyMouse has no cloud computers: your Mac does the work, so it has to stay on (the lid can be closed).
Where MightyMouse is the better pick
Keep Cursor, add your phone. MightyMouse runs the Cursor agent with the plan you already have, next to Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode. You do not have to pick one.
Your own Mac, nothing hosted. Your agents work on your files, on your computer. Reply, approve and merge from the phone while the lid is closed.
The whole Mac, not only the agent. Cursor for iOS cannot open an editor or a terminal. MightyMouse shows your live Mac screen with a trackpad, keyboard and free voice typing, so you can reach any window.
Use them together
MightyMouse is not a replacement for the Cursor editor. Keep Cursor for editing at your desk, and let MightyMouse carry the agents and the Mac to your phone when you leave it.
