MightyMouse

MightyMouse vs Paradev

Both run your coding agents side by side on the Mac. MightyMouse also puts the Mac itself on your phone.

Short answer: Paradev (formerly Superset) is an open source Mac app that runs Claude Code, Codex and other coding agents in parallel, each in its own branch, with an iPhone app that needs its $20/mo Pro plan. MightyMouse does the same agent loop on your Mac, picks up your Conductor workspaces, and adds lock-screen approvals, agents that keep going with the lid closed, and the whole Mac on your phone: live screen, trackpad, keyboard and free voice typing.

Paradev, which was called Superset until recently, is a desktop app for running many coding agents at once. Each task gets its own Git worktree and branch, with a diff view, an in-app browser and pull requests from one window. It is open source under MIT, works with any command-line agent you already pay for, and has a free tier.

MightyMouse covers the same daily loop on the Mac: agents in their own branch, changes, pull request and merge. The difference is what the phone can reach. Paradev's iPhone app talks to your agents. MightyMouse's phone remote talks to the whole Mac, agents included.

Where Paradev is the better pick

Paradev is open source under MIT, so you can read the code and fork it, and its desktop app has a free tier. It also offers cloud workspaces on its Team plan (in beta), a command line tool, a TypeScript SDK and an MCP server. MightyMouse is closed source, Mac only, and has no cloud computers: your Mac does the work.

If your team wants shared cloud workspaces, or you want an open source base to build on, Paradev is the stronger fit.

Where MightyMouse is the better pick

Your phone reaches the whole Mac. A permission dialog, a browser tab, a build that hung outside the terminal: open the phone and you have the live screen, a trackpad and the keyboard.

Answer without opening anything. An agent's question lands on your lock screen. Approve it with Face ID and put the phone down.

More ways onto the phone. MightyMouse works from the phone browser with nothing to install, plus iPhone and Android apps. Paradev's iPhone app needs iOS 26 or later and has no Android version yet.

Coming from Conductor

Paradev and MightyMouse are both common picks now that Conductor is winding down. MightyMouse lists your Conductor workspaces under From Conductor so you can continue them with their old chat. See MightyMouse vs Conductor and how to move from Conductor.

Common questions

Do I need an AI subscription?

No. Connect a Claude, Codex, Gemini or OpenCode account you already pay for and MightyMouse costs nothing. Have none? Sign up and use the built in option, no card needed. Voice transcription is free either way because it runs on your Mac.

Is Paradev the same as Superset?

Yes. Superset is now called Paradev, per paradev.com. It is not related to Apache Superset, the data tool.

Does the Paradev iPhone app cost extra?

Yes. The app needs Paradev Pro, listed at $20/mo ($16/mo billed yearly) on paradev.com/pricing. The free tier covers the desktop app and command line only.

Can I use both?

Yes. Many people keep Paradev for the agent workspaces and use MightyMouse to reach the Mac itself from the phone, with trackpad, keys and voice typing.
