MightyMouse

A Conductor iOS app alternative that talks to your own Mac

If you steered your coding agents from the Conductor iPhone app, the date to plan around is November 20.

On your phone? Get the Mac app by email.

Short answer: The closest replacement for the Conductor iPhone app is a phone remote that talks to your own Mac instead of a cloud. MightyMouse turns your iPhone into your Mac: you see its live screen, reply to or stop your coding agents, approve a request from the lock screen, and merge a pull request.

Per Conductor's announcement on November 4, 2026, its iPhone app only talked to workspaces that ran on Conductor Cloud, and the Cloud shuts down on November 20. I have not tested the app myself, so I am relaying what Conductor said. If that is right, the phone app has nothing left to talk to after that date.

The fix is not another cloud. It is a phone that talks straight to the computer your agents already run on.

What you can do from your phone with MightyMouse

It works with the agents you already use on your Mac: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode. The step-by-step version for Claude Code is in Claude Code on iPhone, and the lock screen part has its own guide: approve an agent from your lock screen.

Turn on Advanced first

Agents on your phone live under a setting called Advanced. If you installed MightyMouse a while ago it may already be on. A fresh install starts with it off, and then the phone shows only the trackpad and voice typing.

With the lid closed, and away from home

Your agents keep working while you are out, as long as the Mac stays reachable. Turn on "Keep this Mac awake", then "Works with the lid closed". With that on, the Mac stays reachable after you shut it, and your agents keep working until they finish.

Away from home, the remote reaches your Mac over a private connection MightyMouse sets up for you, so you do not need to be on the same Wi-Fi. You need to be signed in to MightyMouse on the Mac for that.

Do I need an app on my phone?

No. Scan the code the Mac app shows and the remote opens in your phone's browser, on iPhone or Android. There is also an optional iPhone app if you want an icon on your home screen.

What this costs you

Your agents run on your Mac, so your Mac has to be on and reachable. That is the trade. Nothing runs in a cloud for you, so if the Mac is off, the agents are off.

If that trade works for you, you also get something a cloud app never gave you: no one else's servers between your phone and your code. For the wider list of tools, see the Conductor alternatives, or the MightyMouse and Conductor comparison.

Common questions

What can I use instead of the Conductor iPhone app?

A phone remote that connects to your own Mac. MightyMouse lets you reply to, stop and approve Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode agents from your phone, open and merge a pull request, and see your Mac's live screen.

When does the Conductor cloud shut down?

Conductor said in its November 4, 2026 announcement that Conductor Cloud shuts down on November 20, 2026. Check conductor.build for the latest, since dates can change.

Can I control Claude Code from my iPhone?

Yes. With MightyMouse you can read what Claude Code is doing, reply by typing or talking, stop it, and approve its permission requests from the lock screen. Turn on Advanced in the Mac settings first.

Can I approve a coding agent from my lock screen?

Yes. The notification has an Approve button that asks for Face ID or your passcode before it goes through. There is also a Don't button that needs no unlock.

Does it work when my MacBook lid is closed?

Yes, if you turn on "Works with the lid closed" in settings. It asks for your Mac password once, and your agents keep working until they finish. Keep the Mac plugged in.

Can I merge a pull request from my phone?

Yes. Open the agent's details sheet, tap Merge, and confirm. It works for projects on GitHub, and Open PR waits until your changes are committed.
